On Saturday, a participant in a low-level hacking forum freely distributed the phone numbers and personal information of hundreds of millions of Facebook users.
Over 533 million Facebook users' personal details were revealed from 106 countries, with over 32 million records on users in the United States, 11 million on users in the United Kingdom, and 6 million on users in India.
Contact numbers, Facebook IDs, full names, addresses, birthdates, bios, and, in some cases, email addresses are all included. All of this knowledge is accurate as well! According to a Facebook source, the information was stolen as a result of a flaw that the company resolved in 2019. In spite of the fact that the data is a few years old, malicious hackers who use people's personal information to impersonate them or trick them into handing over login credentials could find it useful.
