Former Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY), J.J. Watt was released from the Texans on February 12th, 2021 from the Houston Texans. He was roaming as a free agent until March 1st. The Cardinals picked him up for 2 years. Watt was possibly going to land at the Packers, Titans, Browns, Buccaneers, Cowboys, and Ravens but he finally ended up in the Arizona Cardinals unexpectedly. This means that the All-Pro Defensive End will reunite with his old teammate Deandre Hopkins.
