Tre Brown a 19-year-old Kroger employee stole about $1 million dollars by returning non-existing purchases. Brown made more than 40 returns from the price from $75 to $87000. He put the returns on credit cards. Brown used the money to buy clothes, guns, and two cars. He totaled one of the cars before he was arrested. The illegal transactions were noticed by a fellow employee who contacted the police. Brown was arrested and charged with theft. He was bailed out of jail at $11200. Most of the money is recovered now.
